Being able to share your files is one of the reasons to store them in the Amazon S3 cloud. Amazon offers different ways of sharing those files and we’re taking advantage of them, in a really easy to use way, using FIleZoomer.
We’re building in two different types of link building into File Zoomer.
The first (create a read access URL) will allow you to set permanent links that can be shared or posted elsewhere.
The second (Generate temporary read access Url) will allow you to create links that time out after a user defined number of hours. This is great if you don’t want your file links exposed beyond a set period of time..
